The PASSHE Women’s Consortium will hold its annual conference November 4 and 5, 2011, at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
The 2011 conference theme, “Constructing, Deconstructing, and Reconstructing Identities” encourages people to explore how the idea of “identity” or “identities” works in our current social, political, economic, athletic, religious, and artistic environments.
The theme is intentionally broad to allow people to focus on their specific areas of interest.
The following formats for presentations are being accepted:
One of the goals of the PASSHE Women’s Consortium conferences is to foster discussion among participants. Regardless of the format of the presentation, presenters need to allow time for discussion of the topics and are encouraged to actively engage audience members.
All members of the university community—students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty and staff members, and administrators—are encouraged to propose panels for the annual conference.
The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2011.
Please send your submissions to Andi McClanahan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
