The Office of Annual Giving will conduct a “Crimson Bag” lunch in IUP’s Pittsburgh office at noon Tuesday, April 5, 2011, with guest speaker and Distinguished Alumni Award winner Barbara Russell. The topic will be “My Life as an Actress.”
All majors are welcome!
Attendees will receive a complimentary lunch and an IUP reusable lunch tote.
The purpose of the lunch will be to update Pittsburgh-area alumni about IUP’s tremendous campus renaissance, numerous prestigious accolades received by IUP as a top-tier university in the nation, progress of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, and information on new academic programs.
This is part of the Pittsburgh Initiative to connect with IUP alumni in this region, with an emphasis on networking, admissions recruitment efforts, media relations, internship, and placement opportunities. The office serves as a hub for more than six thousand alumni who work in the downtown area and more than 29,000 alumni currently residing in Allegheny County.
