Thousands of patrons have enjoyed performances in Fisher Auditorium over the years, and during the renovation and construction of the breezeway that now connects it with Waller Theater, cultural events have taken place in other locations.
The new IUP Performing Arts Center is scheduled to open this fall, and the university is now engaged in a fundraising campaign to support the renovation. The public is invited to purchase seats in the new facility.
For a pledge of $500 per seat or $5,000 for an entire row, each patron's name will be engraved on a brass plaque on a new seat in the renovated Fisher Auditorium. In addition to the engraved plaque, patrons' names will be listed on a special sign in the Performing Arts Center to recognize all donors contributing to the renovation.
Shown in the photos are exterior and interior views. The interior view looks out onto the Oak Grove.
