Lees to Kick Off Friday’s Petri Plate Pizza Session for RESS

Hanely Presents at RESS Petri Plate Pizza Session

The second seminar of the Research Experience for Summer Scholars (RESS) program took place Friday, June 24, in 240 Weyandt Hall, with a presentation from Derek Hanely, an RESS scholar and IUP applied mathematics major. Derek is working under the direction of Rachelle Bouchat during the 10-week summer program.

Science Skills Series workshop on GCMS/NMR

This week, IUP students will again have the opportunity to participate in a free science skills workshop. The focus of this week's workshop is the use of the chemical analytical techniques of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GCMS), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR).
