Dr. Beeken with vocalists

If Music Be The Food Of Love, Play On

You bring to the music program talent and passion, which are first revealed through your audition. That’s your overture. From there you join our faculty, your peers, and your ensembles on a musical journey that will inspire, challenge, and consume you—all designed to help you realize your musical potential as a teacher, performer or both. IUP enjoys the prestige of being an All-Steinway School—one of a select handful in the nation—and the department is a fully accredited member of the National Association of School of Music.
