Marianne Dayhoff ’76 Appointed As Respiratory Therapist

The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh and Lemieux Family Center appointed Marianne Dayhoff ’76 as their first on-staff respiratory therapist.

Dayhoff, with over twenty years of pediatric healthcare experience, will ensure the Children’s Home utilizes best practices regarding teaching and discharge planning for respiratory patients. Other responsibilities include creating a respiratory program and reviewing and revising all respiratory policies and procedures.

“Marianne’s new position will help educate and train hospital staff about respiratory equipment available for young patients,” said Pamela Schanwald, CEO of the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh and Lemieux Family Center. “She will support the Children’s Home’s mission, which places a special focus on teaching families to care for their child’s medical needs.”

Previously, Dayhoff worked at Pediatric Specialists in Pittsburgh.
