Timothy Warner ’86 recently joined the law firm of Cavitch, Familo, Durkin & Frutkin. Warner’s practice will focus primarily on litigation involving commerce and business, ERISA, employment, and probate law. He will also counsel clients on litigation prevention as well as legal matters related to business and employment.
Warner previously served as chairman of the Litigation Section of the Cleveland Bar Association and has been recognized as one of Ohio’s Super Lawyers. He also served as a law clerk with the Honorable Alice Batchelder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and he was also with the firm of Spieth, Bell, McCurdy & Newell.
A graduate with honors from IUP and Syracuse University College of Law, Warner served as an editor of the Syracuse University Law Review. He previously served as an adjunct professor at the Cleveland Marshall College of Law and, prior to attending law school, spent four years working for members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Warner is admitted to practice law in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
