Thomas May Named One of the Best Lawyers in America

Thomas May '74

Thomas May ’74, of the law firm Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, has been named one of The Best Lawyers in America.

May graduated magna cum laude from IUP with a B.A. in Criminology. He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1977. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Employment and Labor Law and Civil Rights.

The 2009 edition is the fifteenth edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 25,000 leading attorneys cast almost two million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
