Linda Toki ’87, a visual information specialist at the Farm Credit Administration, has continued to rack up the awards.
She received the FCA Distinguished Service Award in December 2007.
“The FCA Distinguished Service Award must be earned through significant accomplishments and contributions over time to the organization,” noted Chairman Pellett, “Many times the contributions may go unnoticed, but not this time.” Toki was noted as earning the award because of her creativity, foresight, and talent—especially her Madison Avenuesque event advertisements.
Toki also won two Silver Awards for photography in the 2007 competition sponsored by Create Magazine. The competition was judged by more than twenty leading professionals spanning eight creative industries. Open to artists from all over the world, the intense creative competition encompassed forty categories and three hundred subcategories in eight major creative industries, including advertising and art direction, film and video, graphic communication, photography, and printing and packaging.
