Stefan Brodsky ’75 and his wife, Roberta (right) stand with Colorado state representative Judy Solano, with whom they’ve worked very closely during her last two campaigns.
As members of Solano’s steering committee, the Brodsky’s were very involved with her fundraising efforts and helped her walk the numerous precincts of Colorado House District #31 in Thornton, Colo. A democrat and retired elementary school teacher, Solano won two consecutive terms to the Colorado legislature.
Brodsky also did considerable paid media work for Colorado Governor-elect Bill Ritter during the 2006 campaign. Ritter will be officially sworn in on January 12, 2007.
“Roberta and I formed Brodsky & Co. LLC two years ago, to focus on strategic media and communications,” said Brodsky. Some of their recent clients included Bill Ritter, the University of Northern Colorado (a state university very much like IUP), and industrial technology company Keane, Inc.
“We’ve been married for twenty-six years and will be first-time grandparents in February,” aid Brodsky. “Roberta attended Southern Colorado State College (now Colorado State University-Pueblo) and the University of Colorado at Denver. We actually met thirty years ago (1977) through mutual friends in Pueblo,Colorado—her hometown—and got married three years later.”
