Alumni from the early sixties may remember being more than a tad confused about four female students named Fleming who were all from “town.” All had graduated from Indiana High School in 1961, and two actually had the same name: Judith Ann Fleming.
This photo may help decipher the mystery. Left to right: Marilyn Fleming Sabatos ’65 taught for nineteen years in the North Hills and St. Sebastian schools in Pittsburgh. After nearly thirty-four years of teaching, Beth Fleming Wilcox ’66 was still in the classroom this past spring in the Cochranton Area Schools. Judie Fleming Kaufman ’65 taught more than twenty-six years in the Commodore Perry School District, and Judy Fleming Feulmer ’65 taught twenty-nine years in the Indiana School District. That’s a total of 108 years of education experience.
