“For the past couple of years we spent time in Scottsdale. This year we went all out,” said Howe. “We spent most of our time on Kona. The wives [Joanne Williams Harvin ’79 and Belinda Askew Howe ’79] flew to Honolulu on day shopping and visiting the USS Missouri and the Arizona at Pearl Harbor. While they were doing, that Wendell and I golfed. My scores were terrible. But we had a great time.”
