Karen Kos ’79 and “The Oasis” reunion

In 1978, seven women shared a School Street house they called “The Oasis.” Nearly thirty years later, they reunited in Colorado.

Karen Kos ’79 wrote: “Our roommate getaway lit feelings of family values, remembrances, and fond feelings. It was like we never left. For a moment, we all blended...so well! No animosity, no jealousy...only goodness! In today’s fast-moving society, to take a step back and relish the friendship was so awesome. I wish everyone could experience what we did. We plan on meeting every two years. I say friends are worth the airfare! Virtue is a blessing...say a prayer...friends are forever!”
