American Circulation Innovations has named Randall Brant ’81 as chief revenue officer.

“In the two years since Randall joined ACI, our company has explored new opportunities, opened new markets, and most importantly, grown revenues,” said Keith Somers, company president.

Brant has served as vice president of Sales and Marketing since joining ACI in early 2011. His responsibilities include sales, marketing, public relations, digital/social marketing, events, contract administration, and customer experience.

“Our multichannel strategy has created interest among publishers,” said Brant. “And our Do No Harm launch process has created efficiencies while providing quality service.”

“ACI is in its fifth decade of print distribution,” Somers said. “In addition to continuing steady growth in print distribution, one of Randall’s objectives is to help the company develop new revenue streams in other areas. Our business is constantly evolving.”

“It’s like Wayne Gretzky says,” Somers added. “You need to skate to where the puck is going.”

Before joining ACI, Brant held leadership positions in print, digital, and niche publishing with several major U.S. newspapers, including the Dallas Morning News, Detroit News and Free Press, Denver Post, Salt Lake Tribune, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
