Joseph Rooney ’87, a long-time academic and publican, has published a new book, The Flying Hound.
He has spent most of his career as a professor and administrator in higher education. “One of my positions brought me to Dublin, Ireland for three years. During that time, I had the opportunity to take students on many tours of the country. This experience served as the motivation and inspiration for a novel that is called The Flying Hound.”
His first book, The Flying Hound is a tribute to the many trips he conducted and the many people he met along the way.
Joe now lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with his wife, Kelly, his kids, Joe Jr., Lawrence and Melissa, and their three hounds, Cheeca, Mr. Big, and Chowder.
