Artist and educator Willard Dominick ’46 has just completed a one-man exhibit at Gamble Mill Gallery in Bellefonte, Pa.
His show, “Viva L’ Arte: Willard Dominick Retrospective,” ran for three months in spring 2011 and featured works from after World War II to the present.

Willard is recognized for his acrylic paintings and for his sketches done during the war while in the infantry in the Pacific theater. His collection of WWII journals and drawings is housed at the War College, U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center, in Carlisle, Pa. In addition, author Joseph Maggioni is writing a book about Willard Dominick’s experiences on the WWII battlefield, including his illustrations.
