Blank Rome LLP announced that Terry Henry ’84 joined the firm as vice chair of the Life Sciences industry team and partner in the Product Liability, Mass Torts, Insurance group.
Terry has more than fifteen years’ experience in general commercial litigation and products liability defense, representing companies that design and manufacture medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and home safety products. He will be based in Blank Rome’s Philadelphia office.
Before Blank Rome, Terry was with Cozen O’Connor as chair of the Life Sciences Practice Group in the Commercial Litigation Department.
He serves as national coordinating and trial counsel, and as regional counsel in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. He also counsels clients on compliance and industry standards in order to mitigate risk and navigate the nuances related to product manufacturing in a heavily regulated industry.
Terry has spoken and written on emerging issues in the life sciences industry, and has sponsored a Life Science Leadership Conference that addressed key issues affecting the industry.
Prior to joining private practice, Terry was a captain with the United States Army, and he is the recipient of a Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal.
Terry Henry is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Third Circuit. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law and his B.A. from IUP.
