Russ Collett ’83 is chief operating officer and member of the board of directors for security firm IPC International Corporation, based in Bannockburn, Illinois.
Russ retired last year as the assistant special agent in charge of the United State Secret Service’s Chicago Field Office. Throughout his twenty-five-year career, he served on the presidential details of George W. Bush and William J. Clinton.
As COO of IPC, Russ will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including new business development, personnel management, and the continual advancement of capabilities and performance standards.
Russ lives in Downers Grove, Illinois, with his wife, Stacy Tannehill Collett ’86, and their sixteen-year-old triplet daughters, Caitlyn, Devin, and Kelsey.
Stacy, a freelance writer for a series of business and high technology magazines, has also coached the local high school cheerleaders, qualifying the team for state championships in the last two years.
