ArtsPath and IUP Lively
Arts are partnering with the Artists Hand Gallery to host a special artist residency for students ages seven through 17 from
August 31 to September 24, 2016. It features two nationally known artists, both represented
by the gallery and having extensive teaching experience.

The Lively Arts announced its
2015–16 Ovations! series season at the Thursday, May 21, After Hours
event organized by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Lively Arts. During a presentation,
nearly 100 area business and community leaders heard which events will tour
through Indiana over the coming year.

Since July 2013, over 50 new art works have been acquired by
the University Museum at IUP through purchase
and donation. Beginning April 7, 2015, many of these new works will be on
display at the Artists Hand Gallery.

The 2015 High School Art Invitational at the University Museum of IUP
is a celebration of Pennsylvania student artists, showcasing over 50 works representing 12 high schools from across the
state. The exhibit opens on Saturday, March 28, and runs through May 16.

The 2015 Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition will run February
7 through March 5 across three
exhibition spaces—the University Museum, Kipp Gallery, and Kipp
Gallery Annex. An opening reception will be held on February 7. Admission to the exhibits and reception is free.

The 2012–2013 season for the Lively Arts arts-in-education program,
ArtsPath , was a banner year as several thousand students were served through multiple outreach sessions by touring artists, as well as through long-term artist residencies with ArtsPath teaching artists.
