Chat Series Continues at Artists Hand

The Lively Arts will host a second Chat with the Lively Arts on Friday, July 8, 2016, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Artists Hand Gallery. Community members are invited to learn more about the programs and ask questions about its operations.

Summer Exhibit Celebrates Indiana Borough Bicentennial

“Local Color—The Indiana Perspective” features works from the University Museum’s collection by artists who have lived and worked in the Indiana area. The exhibit, presented in honor of the Indiana Borough Bicentennial, opens June 25, 2016, and runs through July 28.

Artists Hand Partners with Lively Arts for Chats

The Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar, in Downtown Indiana, is partnering with the Lively Arts at IUP to provide an opportunity for community members to “Chat With the Lively Arts” about its 2016–17 season, outreach, and operation. The first in this series will be Friday, June 10.

Park Inn Teams with Lively Arts to Present Broadway Blockbuster

The Park Inn will be the presenting sponsor as the Lively Arts brings the Broadway tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” to Indiana on October 11.

“XX” Exhibit: Female Artists from Museum’s Collection

Curated by Jen Blalock and Ashley Bouton, the University Museum’s “XX” is a showcase of artwork from the museum’s permanent collection created by female artists. “XX” will open Monday, May 23, 2016, with a public reception from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The show will run until June 11. Admission is free.
