"Avenue Q" (Keystone Repertory Theater Production)
Sunday, August 12, 2012
Location: Waller Hall Mainstage
Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Time: 4:00 PM
Written by Robert Lopez, Jeff Marx and Jeff Whitty, and under the direction of IUP student Matt Brown. AVENUE Q is a laugh-out-loud musical in high Muppet style that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life. Featuring a cast of puppets and humans, this is one that will have you singing and laughing for days. AVENUE Q is great for teenagers because it's about real life, but leave the little ones at home to watch Sesame Street. This show deals with adult issues and situations. Tickets are available beginning July 30th at the HUB Box Office, and will be sold at the door starting 45 minutes before the performance. Ticket prices are $7 Regular, $6 Discount, and $4 with an I-Card.
