Events and programs are subject to change, and most ending times for events listed are approximate. Specific departmental events for current faculty and students in the College of Fine Arts can be viewed on the individual department and program pages.

Annual student contest presented by the IUP College of Fine Arts and IUP chapter of the National Art Education Association. Students, student organizations, or IUP classes create a social or political message in chalk between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., with colored chalk provided. Judging will occur between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m., with cash prizes awarded (for IUP students only) starting at 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to stroll the Grove and watch the students creating their drawings and view the completed work. The date of the event is subject to change depending on weather conditions. (Rain Date: May 2nd)
