IUP Chamber Singers in Concert

The IUP Chamber Singers will perform Palestrina's "Missa Papae Marcelli." This mass for six voices, written in 1567, demonstrates Palestrina's ability to compose polyphonic music in which the text is understood completely. The concert will also include "Three Scottish Folksongs," arranged by Mac Wilberg and accompanied by piano duet; and the spiritual "Steal Away," arranged by Villanueva. Free Admission.
