Excellent library collections are sustained only with vigilance and generosity.
Excellent library collections take on the vitality of living organisms when they have the constant attention required to keep them current and accessible. Extraordinary efforts are required to rise above mere subsistence.
Libraries are often described as the “intellectual center of the university.” At the IUP Libraries, we strive to fulfill that obligation by acquiring, maintaining, and providing access to the most up-to-date and excellent scholarly materials available. Our collections are designed to serve the IUP students, faculty, and community and serve as the heart of the IUP Libraries’ services. We are humbled by the generosity of the individuals who have given time, wealth, and resources to the IUP Libraries to aid us in our mission, and we celebrate their contributions.
There are several ways to give to the IUP Libraries, including Annual Giving, Planned Giving, Gifts in Kind, and the Honor With Books program.
