The Pennsylvania Center for the Study of Labor Relations was created in 1976 providing education, research, and training opportunities to labor, management, government, and academe. The Labor Center is housed within the Employment and Labor Relations Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Labor Relations Center has a particular responsibility for the university's labor education efforts and serves as a liaison between organized labor and the university. The Labor Relations Center conducts workshops and conferences for various clients throughout the state as well as assists other institutions in Pennsylvania to provide training essential to the needs of both labor and management.
