The James G. Mill Center for Health and Fitness in Zink Hall is hosting its sixth annual 5K on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
The 5K is entirely on the Hoodlebug Trail, beginning on Old Route 119 at 11;00 a.m. (registration starts at 10:00 a.m.).
All proceeds will be donated to Indiana County’s Four Footed Friends, who
have helped a countless number of animals. For more information on the
race, visit us on our Facebook page, James G. Mill Center for Health and Fitness.
This year’s course will feature a scenic and mostly level course with a
packed gravel surface. Parking will be at the start of the race behind
the Divine Destiny Church.
Click here for the Registration Form.
The cost for the event is $17 until race day and $20 on race day. The cost for students and members of the fitness center is $15 until race day and $20 on race day. We will be giving medals for the top three male and female in each of seven age groups, as well as prizes for various categories including walkers! Refreshments will be available, and we will be raffling off shoeboxes filled with gift cards and other items from local companies in theme with the Four Footed Friends.
All are welcome, and we’d love to see you there running, walking, or even helping with the event. So pass the word along and sign up with a group of friends and family so you can help the local Four Footed Friends animal shelter!
