The virtual private network (VPN) uses the Internet to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to the university’s network.
The VPN must be used to:
- Access network resources like the project directory or your home directory from off campus.
- Access some library resources (online catalogs, for example). See Special VPN Setting for Library Database Access.
- Access the Banner web client from off campus.
- Access the CMS from off campus.
- Access the LDAP service from off campus.
