| The "default" gradebook aggregation method for newly generated courses will be "Sum of Grades" instead of "Simple Weighted Mean of Grades". Instructors are able to change the aggregation method to "Simple Weighted Mean of Grades" if desired. |

| The number of gradebook aggregation methods will be reduced to "Sum of Grades", "Simple Weighted Mean of Grades" and "Weighted Mean of Grades". Other aggregation methods can be achieved through various options in the gradebook. Previously selected aggregation methods will remain set in your existing courses; however, aggregation options for new courses will be limited to the 3 noted above.
