Sophos Endpoint Security and Control is the anti-virus and anti-malware software licensed by the university.
Sophos is available to all current IUP faculty, staff, and students for campus or home usage. Individuals are entitled to nontransferable use of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control as long as they are students at or employed by IUP.
In addition to the initial package, we also receive periodic updates to the software to account for new viruses. To be effective, the virus software must be updated regularly.
