This article discusses the basics of viewing the results of various Moodle assignment types. There are four different assignment types in Moodle: Advanced uploading of files, On-line text, Upload a single file, and Off-line activity.
Login to the Moodle course and select the desired assignment link from the course home page.
Advanced Uploading of Files
On the Advanced uploading of files assignment summary screen, you will see the original question or instructions entered by the instructor.
Below is a box labeled Submission feedback (as shown by the red arrow). In this area, you will see any feedback entered for the assignment by the instructor. It will also show you any commented file uploaded by the instructor. Simply double click on the commented file to open and display the comments. You can also opt to save the file to review at a later time.
On the right side of the box, you will see your grade listed out of the total point of the assignment. In this example, the grade is 95 points out of a possbile total of 100. You will also notice the original file that you uploaded (as shown by the green arrow).
On-line Text
On the On-line text assignment summary screen, you will see the original question or instructions entered by the instructor. Below that you will see your submission.
Below is a box labeled Feedback from the Teacher (as shown by the red arrow). In this area, you will see any feedback entered for the assignment by the instructor. On the right side of the box you will see your grade listed out of the total points for the assignment. In this example, the grade is 25 points out of a possbile total of 25 (as shown by the red arrow).
Upload a Single File
On the Upload a single file assignment summary screen, you will see the original question or instructions entered by the instructor.
Below is a box labeled Feedback from the Teacher (as shown by the red arrow). In this area, you will see any feedback entered for the assignment by the instructor. On the right side of the box you will see your grade listed out of the total points of the assignment. In this example, the grade is 8 points out of a possbile total of 10. You will also notice the original file that you uploaded.
Off-line Activity
On the Off-line activity assignment summary screen, you will see the original question or instructions entered by the instructor.
Below is a box labeled Feedback from the Teacher (as shown by the red arrow). In this area, you will see any feedback entered for the assignment by the instructor. On the right side of the box you will see your grade listed out of the total points for the assignment. In this example the grade is 74 points out of a possbile total of 75.
