Uploading Multiple Files to a Moodle Assignment

These instructions only apply to assignments setup by the instrutor to require the uploading of more than one file for a single assignment.

1. Select the assignment in the desired Moodle course.

2. Select the “Browse” button and locate the first file to upload on your computer. Select the “Upload this file” button once the file is shown in the text box.

3. To upload more files, simply repeat step 2 for as many files that need to be uploaded. Be careful not to select the “Send for marking button” at this point or you will not be able to upload any additional files. Once another file is uploaded, the assignment should appear as the example below.

4. Once all the files have been uploaded, select the “Send for marking” button. You will see a warning message letting you know that once the files have been submitted for grading files can no longer be uploaded to the assignment.

5. Select the “Yes” button to continue. Once submitted, you will see the details for the assignment showing the uploaded files and a message indicating that no further updates are possible since the files have been submitted for grading.
