If your instructor is going to utilize iclick, IUP’s Student Response System, you will need to register the device ID of your ResponseCard XR (clicker) in order for your responses to be associated with you. Registration of a clicker is done through URSA (University Records and Systems Assistant). The steps to register your clicker is listed below.
Clicker Device ID Registration
- Log into URSA.
- Select “Personal Information and Surveys” from the Personal Information tab.
- Select “iclick Registration.”

- Select the “Add Clicker Device ID” button.

- In the box titled “Enter Clicker Device ID,” enter the device ID from your clicker. The ID is found on the label on the back of the clicker. Enter the device ID from the back of your clicker. An example is shown in the picture below, circled in red. The ID is made up of six characters—either numbers or a combination of letters and numbers.

If you see the message "Error: Device ID is already registered," you will need to either re-enter the device ID in the event you made an error, or contact the previous owner of the device in the event you purchased it from another IUP student. In this case, the previous owner will have to remove the device ID before you can register the ID.
