The IT Support Center currently supports desktop PCs and laptops running Windows 7 Enterprise for the standard administrative desktop. Please visit our hardware quotes page to see current configurations. Quotes for flat panel monitors are also available from the hardware quotes page. Please note that all hardware quotes require authentication with your network username and password.
In an effort to meet the hardware/software requirements for Windows 7 Enterprise, the minimum and recommended configurations for PC hardware have been updated. All PCs on the administrative network should meet the updated configuration by June 30, 2012.
All PCs connected to the administrative network must meet a minimum desktop PC hardware configuration:
- Processor speed: 2.5 GHz
- Hard drive: 80 GB
- RAM/Memory: 2 GB
- Network card
Recommended desktop PC hardware configuration is:
- Processor speed: 3.0 GHz
- Hard drive: 160 GB
- RAM/Memory: 4 GB
- Network card
All laptops on the administrative network must meet a minimum laptop hardware configuration:
- Processor type/speed: Intel Dual Core Celeron P4600, 2.00 GHz
- Hard drive: 80 GB
- RAM/Memory: 2 GB
- Network card
Recommended laptop hardware configuration is:
- Processor type/speed: Intel Core i5-560M (2.66 GHz, 3M cache
- Hard drive: 160 GB
- RAM/Memory: 3 GB
- Network card
Upgrades
Hardware upgrades are handled on a individual basis. If you are interested in purchasing components to upgrade your current PC, please contact the IT Support Center for a consultation.

Equipment Moves
If you currently have a PC or printer on the administrative network that you are transferring to another office, please contact the IT Support Center. It is important to notify us of these changes so that we can maintain accurate hardware, software, and networking information required to support the network.
