- Login on the IUP Web Single Sign-On page.
- If this is the first time you have logged in to the blog service, a new blank personal blog will be created. (As shown in the image below)

- If you already have a blog and would like to create another personal blog or a group blog, select the System Overview drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select the Blogs link.

- On the Create Blog screen, enter a title for the blog in the Blog Name text box. From the drop-down menu next to the "Type" label, select what type of blog you would like to create, Personal or Group. If you are creating a group blog, the blog name must be more than eight (8) characters in length. Next, click the Create Blog button.
The web page address (URL) of the personal blogs are in the form of blog.iup.edu/username (e.g., blog.iup.edu/jdoe), or, if you have additional blogs, in the form of blog.iup.edu/username/blogname (e.g., blog.iup.edu/jdoe/deltiology). Group blog web page addresses are in the form of blog.iup.edu/groupblogname (e.g., blog.iup.edu/itservices). Remember, group blog names must be more than eight characters in length.

- After saving your changes, the General Settings screen is displayed. You can enter a description for the blog if you desire. The new blog has been created. New blog entries can now be created.
