The IT Support Center provides a full range of student hardware support.

What we can do for you:

  • Diagnose hardware issues related to memory, hard drive, and power supply failure
  • Provide temporary backup and restore services1
  • Clean a malware/virus infected PC2
  • Install anti-malware and anti-virus software
  • Install critical academic applications such as OneNote, SPSS, and your purchased copy of Microsoft Office

This service is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and only a limited number of machines can be received. The equipment must be brought to the IT Support Center to be serviced and may be kept overnight for an indefinite period of time. If you are are bringing in a laptop for service, you must bring your power cord with you. All students will be required to complete the Computer Check-in Form as well as the Service Request and Release Form before any work can be performed. 

Academic software is available to students, including free anti-virus software.

Please Note:
1We make no guarantee that we will be able to retrieve information off of your device. 
2We cannot guarantee that we can fully restore an infected machine, and we may recommend completely rebuilding the machine. In the event we need to rebuild your machine, it is the students’ responsibility to provide an operating system disk and/or key to re-install the operating system. The student is also responsible for any software that they wish to re-install on the system after the rebuild.
