MyWebCT
"myWebCT" provides you with centralized access to all of your WebCT courses. It contains courses, announcements, bookmarks, a global calendar, preferences and additional features for instructors.
Common WebCT Tools
Listed below are some of the most common WebCT tools. Click on each link to learn more about the tool.
- WebCT Mail
Mail uses an internal mail system to allow the instructor and students in a WebCT course to components, receive, reply, and forward mail messages to each other.
- WebCT Discussions
Discussions allows students and instructors to compose, read, reply, and search for messages within WebCT.
- WebCT Chat
Chat allows students and instructors to communicate via text messaging within WebCT.
- WebCT Assignments
Assignments allows the instructor to distribute course assignments online and allows students to submit assignments online.
- Live Classroom for WebCT
Live Classroom allows students and instructors to interact in a "virtual" classroom in real time. It enables you to contact your professor and other students using text-chat, voice chat (requires a microphone headset), view a shared application, view PowerPoint slides, and share a whiteboard.
