By default, your e-mail alias will be used as the from address with imail. Your e-mail alias can be found in URSA and in the online directory. See Find your IUP Account Information (username and password).
If you wish to change this to use your e-mail address instead of your e-mail alias, follow these steps:
- Login to imail.
- Click Settings.
- Click the LookOut tab.
- Under LookOut Settings - Identities (From: addresses), enter your information as follows (including quotes and less than/greater than symbols):
“Firstname Lastname” <e-mail address>
For example, if your name is John Doe and your e-mail address is abcd@iup.edu, you would enter:
“John Doe” <abcd@iup.edu>
- Click add.
- Select the new identity from the list and click select identity.
- Click Save.
- Click Close.
