IUP provides an optical-scanning test scoring service for university faculty.

This test scoring service utilizes the following forms: a test header, key sheet, general purpose answer sheet (GPAS), and test scoring request envelope.

These forms are available from Central Stores. Department secretaries can order these items by entering a reservation into SAP using the following material numbers:

Test Header - 14465
General Purpose Answer Sheet - 14464
Test Scoring Request Envelope - 14435

How to Complete the Test Header for Test Scoring: Instructions on how to complete the header sheet to process your exams
How to Complete the Answer Key for Test Scoring: The answer key is a general purpose answer sheet that contains the correct responses to the questions on the test or subtest.

Test Scoring E-mail Notification: For each exam processed, the faculty member will receive an e-mail message that contains the batch number, a link to the folder containing the reports and results file, and information about mapping a drive to access the folder.

Test Scoring Reports: The test scoring system provides a variety of reports. Samples are available for review.

New Test Scoring System Review Handout from College Chairs Meetings: An overview of the new test scoring system was presented to the department chairs of each college during the fall 2011 semester. This PDF file is the handout that was distributed at those meetings. The handout was updated to include enhancements that were made to the system after the meetings took place.
