EndNote is a full-featured research and writing tool that generates bibliographies in specified output styles, maintains references, assists with downloading references from electronic databases (e.g., Ovid, Proquest), and supports citing references while writing. This product can be installed on a PC or Mac.
EndNote is available to current IUP employees and students. A copy of Endnote may be obtained by following the download instructions listed below. You will be prompted for your username and password when downloading the software.
Important! Enter your username as iupmsd\username (note the direction of the slash).
EndNote X6 for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP
- Click on the “download now” link, select Save.
- Once the download is complete, right click on the file ENX6win.zip, select Extract All.
- A new folder called "ENX6Win" will be created containing two files. Open the folder and double-click ENX6Inst.msi to begin the installation.
EndNote X5 for Mac OS X
- Click on the “download now” link (the download should begin automatically).
- The EndNote installer will launch once the download is complete.
