Fundamentals of Online Pedagogy and Course Design

This workshop will address general pedagogical and course design principles for online instruction. Particularly, the following topics will be addressed:

• The difference between the online and the face-to-face environments and the impact of those differences on instruction
• The considerations for online pedagogy
• Considerations for selecting media for online instruction
• Tips for the curriculum proposal process
