How long will it take to run it?
Depending on the speed of your PC and the number of users that apply the maintenance release simultaneously, it will take approximately 20 to 45 minutes.

It will be made available to all PCs on the administrative network on January 15, 2013.

Do I need to do anything after the Maintenance Release is finished?
The first time you open Thunderbird, you may receive a message asking you to select add-ons. Put a checkmark beside all of the listed add-ons and click Next.
If you created shortcuts to Microsoft Office 2007 applications, you will need to delete these shortcuts and recreate them after Maintenance Release 1 has been installed. The "old" shortcut will point to a folder that is no longer there and they will not work. See Create or delete a shortcut.
This includes shortcuts that were pinned to the taskbar or the Start menu. See Pin a Program to the Taskbar for related information.
It is also recommended that you review the documents found at Microsoft Office 2010 Support Resources for information about the differences from Office 2007 to Office 2010 and for frequently asked questions (FAQs).
