An icebreaker slide is a template slide that contains an automatically generated analogy or word scramble question to get your audience involved in the TurningPoint presentation. Analogies are automatically generated, and the word scramble is generated once a word is supplied.

The Analogy Icebreaker Slide

The Analogy Icebreaker slide creates a multiple choice slide with an analogy question with one missing word. It includes four choices, one of which is marked as the correct choice. To reveal the correct answer after polling, simply insert a Correct Answer Indicator. The following is an example of an Analogy slide:

The Word Scramle Icebreaker Slide

As previously mentioned, the Word Scramble Icebreaker slide requires an input of a word. Every other letter from the word is removed. The removed letters are scrambled and appear as one of four choices on a multiple choice slide. The correct choice is automatically marked. To reveal the correct answer after polling, simply insert a Correct Answer Indicator. The following is an example of a Word Scramble slide:
