In January 2012, a new test scoring system was implemented.

The table below identifies some of the key differences between the current (new) system and the previous system:

  Current (New) System Previous System
Forms/Envelope Information needed to process exams should be provided on the Test Scoring Request Form. The envelope will continue to be used for packaging. Only the identification block on the envelope needs to be completed. The optical scanning forms (test header and general purpose answer sheet) have not changed. Information needed to process exam is on the envelope.
When multiple answer keys are needed Exam with multiple versions.
For exams with varying point values and subtests, this is indicated on the request form, not via answer keys.

Notifications E-mail message with batch number and link to reports and results will be sent for each exam processed. No files will be sent via e-mail and no phone calls will be made. Phone calls were made to provide batch number. E-mail message containing results was sent upon request.
Exam Results Website A secure web site organized by term. A folder named with your username will be created when an exam has been processed for you during that term. For each exam, a subfolder is created to store the exam’s reports and the results file. Not available
Reports By default, no reports will be printed. If you wish to receive printed reports, you must indicate this on the request form.
For an exam with one version, five reports will be available for printing. Nine reports will be generated in PDF format and saved in the exam results folder. For exams with multiple versions, two reports can be printed, and three reports are generated.
Reports were only available for printing
Results file Stored in the exam results folder in Excel format (.xls). Sent via e-mail in CSV format
