Please note: The IT Support Center does not provide support for personal mobile devices like tablets and smartphones. The instructions below are provided as a resource to students and employees who wish to set up their own devices.
The staff at the IT Support Center cannot set up these devices, however they can assist when there may be an issue with your network and/or e-mail password. Keep in mind that you can reset your own network password and reset your own e-mail password via URSA.
- From the home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Under Choose a Network…, tap IUP.
- Enter your IUP username in this format, paying careful attention to the direction of the slash -- \
IUPMSD\username (be sure to substitute your username!)
Note: If you are not prompted for your username, restart from Step 1
- Enter your network password.
- Tap Join.
- A certificate confirmation screen will appear. Tap Accept.
If it does not join the first time, go back to Step 1 and retry these steps.
