Set Up Your IUP E-mail Account on iPhone, iPad, or iPod

Please note: The IT Support Center recommends enrolling your device in IUP’s Mobile Device Management System (AirWatch) to receive automatic configuration of IUP e-mail, VPN, and wireless. These instructions are provided as a resource to students and employees who wish to configure IUP e-mail on their devices manually.

  1. Select the Settings icon.
  2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Select Add Account…
  4. Select Exchange.
  5. Enter the following information:  
    • For E-mail: enter your IUP e-mail address (username@iup.edu, replacing username with your IUP username)
    • For Password: enter your e-mail password
    • For Description: enter the account description, such as: IUP I-Mail
    • Tap Next.
    • Enter the following information:
      • Server: imail.iup.edu
      • User Name: (enter your IUP username)
      • The password should already be entered. If it is not, enter your e-mail password.
      • Click Next. It will verify your account information.
      • Click Save. 
      • Click Done.
      • Return to the Home screen, open the Mail application, and test it.
