A Wimba Classroom archive is a recording of a live presentation done by the instructor that can be played back at any time. All the actions of the presentation are played back exactly as they occurred during the live presentation. The instructions to view an archive are as follows:
- Log in to Desire2Learn (D2L). From the My Courses widget, select the desired course.
- Click on Content in the navbar.
- In the Table of Contents, click on the link to the Wimba Classroom. The titles vary per course depending on how the instructor titles them.
- On the Wimba screen, click the name of the Wimba Classroom archive to highlight it. You will know which title is the archive as it will have the date in the name from the day it was recorded (as shown by the red square). Click on the blue arrow to launch Wimba Classroom (as shown by the red arrow).

- The archive should begin to play automatically after you access it. (Please note that it may take a few seconds before it begins to play.) The presentation slides will automatically advance for you, and you will see everything as it happened in the live presentation.

You can use the Archive Navigation to jump to specific slides within the archive. As you watch the archive, you can even respond to any Wimba Classroom polling questions that appear. Your results will not show up in the archive itself, but they will be reflected in any polling reports that your instructor runs after you respond. The Text Chat dialogue is not recorded in the archive. It is logged in a different manner.
