Logging in
- Go to the web address https://d2l.iup.edu.
- If this is the first time you are logging into Desire2Learn (D2L), you will use your Initial IUP Computing Password found in URSA.
- Type your username and case-sensitive password into the appropriate fields, and click Login.
Forgot Password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it within URSA by using the How to Reset Your Own Network Password document.
System check
If this is your first time logging in to D2L, you can check that your computer system meets the minimum system requirements by clicking the link titled "Please check here for a System Check before you login" on the login page.
A system check ensures that you have the appropriate:
- Course required plug-ins, including JavaScript
- Web browser version
- Web browser settings
- Display settings
Note: If you fail a component of the system check, you receive a pop-up error message explaining why you failed and what actions to take to meet the requirements.
Logging out
The Logout link is located on the right side of the navigation bar. Selecting Logout takes you to the Login page and ends your current D2L session.
System Idle Time-Out
If you are inactive for sixty minutes, your session will expire and you will be required to re-authenicate. Make sure you save your data regularly.
