  • What is Desire2Learn?

    Desire2Learn is a vendor-hosted learning management system contracted by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to offer collaborative learning tools, activity-based learning, and interaction with materials that encourage critical reflection.

    The State System signed a five-year agreement with Desire2Learn to replace Blackboard and e-College as the one commercial State System learning management system provider effective July 1, 2010.

    D2L Course copy Issues

    Recently D2L discovered that with the December 23, 2015 update a problem was found with the Course Copy Process in version 10.5.5.  A correction was applied on January 8, 2016.  To that end IT Services has received information from D2L on recommendations to identify and correct any courses copied during that time that may have been affected.
