Test scoring output will be saved to your exam results folder on the network. Your exam results folder will be organized by term.
Each time you process an exam for that term, a subfolder is created within the term subfolder, using the Subject Course Section field on the test header sheet and the job ID (assigned automatically) as the folder name. You will have read access to these subfolders also.
When your exam has been processed, you will receive an e-mail notification indicating the batch number, along with a link to access the subfolder containing the reports and results file. You can click on the link to access the contents of the folder. If you are off campus, you must connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) before you can access the files.
If you are not connected to the VPN from off campus and you try to access the files, you will receive this error:
403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
If you are connected to the VPN from off campus and you try to access the files, you will be prompted for username and password. Enter your username in this format: IUPMSD\username — substituting your username. For the password, enter your network password.
You can also access this folder by mapping a drive, replacing your username for USERNAME.

The image below illustrates the contents of dispatch.iup.edu/NATE/. Only the faculty member whose username is NATE can view this folder.
If the faculty member opens the Exams folder, he will see a folder for each term for which he has processed exams. This folder represents summer 2012.
If the faculty member opens the 201210 folder, he will see a folder for each exam he processed during that term.
If the faculty member opens a folder for a specific exam, he will see links to the reports generated (PDF files), the text of the e-mail message, and the Excel file containing the results.
The exam results folders will be purged by term, on a cycle similar to the project directory. For example, when Fall 2012 is about to begin, the Fall 2011 folder will be deleted. When the Spring 2013 term is about to begin, the Spring 2012 folder will be deleted. This cycle will allow you to backup files from past semesters even after the grade appeal deadline for a given semester. See Backing Up Test Scoring Results for additional information.
