Student Employment at the IT Support Center

  • IT Services employs students to assist in providing support to IUP faculty, staff, and students.

    If you have technical and customer service skills, please follow these simple directions to apply.

    • Once you have saved the application, fill out the application and save the completed copy.
    • Submit the application via an attachment and e-mail to it-support-center@iup.edu.
    • You may also print and hand-deliver it to the IT Support Center in Delaney Hall. Our entrance is located by the basketball court in the Delaney/Putt courtyard.

    Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, technology-related assignments, support of walk-in customers at the IT Support Center, and over-the-phone troubleshooting.

    The Teaching and Learning Technologies group (TLT) also offers students the opportunity for employment. Responsibilities for this department consist primarily of offering support to faculty and staff with IUP-owned hardware such as desktops, laptops, etc.

    Prior knowledge and ability to troubleshoot technology-related issues, as well as customer service experience, is preferred.

    Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills, have an eagerness to learn and retain information, and be able to participate effectively during an interview.
